Support the hall
There are two schemes by which you can support the hall financially: Friends of the Hall, and the 100 Club.
Friends of the Village Hall
Friends of Grampound Village Hall are people who would like to make a modest annual contribution to help to sustain the hall and its facilities. Looking after the hall and its surrounding grounds requires continual maintenance and repairs to facilities. Whilst income is received from the hiring out of the hall and from events held there, it is always a tight balance between income and expenditure. Additional income from Friends helps us to have a sustainable future for the hall.
We keep in touch with Friends advising them of the latest news and events at the hall. In addition to this you will receive invitations to special events from time to time.
How can I join Friends?
Fill in the Friends application form and hand it to any member of the hall committee.
There are 3 memberships to choose from
The 100 Club is another way to help with the running and maintence of the Village Hall whilst at the same time giving yourself a chance to win a money prize. Members pay £1 a month for a number and there is no limit as to how many numbers one person can have. Payment is made monthly or annually by standing order. The monies received are split 50:50 with half the money being allocated to prizes and the other half going into hall funds.
Prizes are drawn each quarter at the Management Committee Meeting in March, June, September and December. First and second prizes are currently £50 & £25 respectively. Then an Annual Draw takes place at the December Management Committee Meeting at which time the residual prize fund is paid out in prizes up to a maximum of £100.
